Lincoln Memorial University’s Annual Interprofessional Opioid Symposium

The Opioid Education Symposium Series takes place annually on the 4th Monday in April from 12:30-4:30

This event  is entirely online.

Details and registration information for the 2022 symposium will soon be posted. We anticipate attendance to include, but is not limited to, students from programs such as Osteopathic Medical Education, Physician Assistant, Family Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacy and Social Work. All interested course directors, health professions students, community leaders, community members, and trained medical professionals are also invited to attend!

Learning outcomes are expected to include the following:

  • Differentiate the roles of interdisciplinary group members and how to effectively collaborate as a member of the health care team to achieve optimal patient care.
  • Recognize from both clinical and holistic perspectives, the devastating factors contributing to opioid misuse both regionally and nationally.
