My name is Helene Hamo, and I am a third-year pharmacy student at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy in Nashville, TN. I am passionate about interdisciplinary work after being in a program, Vanderbilt Program in Interprofessional Learning (VPIL), for two years that enhanced my competence and skills in being able to work a multidisciplinary team. I strive for the awareness of how impactful interprofessionalism is in healthcare for patient-centered outcomes. I find value in integrating collaboration of healthcare backgrounds to close gaps in care for patients.
