Call for Nominations for the TIPEC Board of Directors

The TIPEC Board of Directors is calling for nominations for the Board of Directors. In accordance with our by-laws (click here to download), board members serve a term of three years, with the option of election to an additional consecutive three-year term. Board members are responsible for attending 60-minute monthly board meetings* and are encouraged to serve on at least one of the TIPEC working groups.

The board strives for a leadership group that reflects the broad range of people we serve, including, but not limited to, representation from across Tennessee, multiple disciplines, a diversity of clinical and academic experience, and underrepresented groups in the health care professions.

Students: The TIPEC Board of Directors has up to three positions for students to serve on the board as advisors (non-voting members). As with our regular members, we strive to have students who represent a range of professions and geographical regions. To be eligible, you must currently be enrolled in a course of study, although you may graduate in the course of your term (e.g., you can start July 30, graduate in May, and still complete your term). Students serve a term of one year, from July 30 – July 29.

Applicants (students and professionals) must be members of TIPEC (click here to become a member) and a current or retired professional in their field.

All applicants should have their materials submitted by September 30, 2023.

Interested candidates should submit the following below:
• Updated CV
• Short Bio (approximately 100 words; if elected, this will appear on our website)
• Personal Statement of no more than 250 words (one page, double-spaced) highlighting your IPEP work, your reasons for wanting to serve on the board, and the impact you hope to make in the organization.
