2021 Call for Nominations for the TIPEC Board of Directors

The TIPEC Board of Directors is calling for nominations for the Board of Directors. In accordance with our by-laws (click here to download), board members serve a term of three years, with the option of election to an additional consecutive three-year term. Board members are responsible for attending 60-minute monthly board meetings* and are encouraged to serve on at least one of the six TIPEC working groups (descriptions of which can be on tipec.org under the Working Groups tab).

The current board of directors will present a slate of candidates to be voted on by the TIPEC membership at the annual meeting on July 30, 2021. New board members should plan to attend the board meeting on Tuesday, August 17 at 12:00 pm Central/1:00 pm Eastern.

The board strives for a leadership group that reflects the broad range of people we serve, including, but not limited to, representation from across Tennessee, multiple disciplines, a diversity of clinical and academic experience, and underrepresented groups in the health care professions.

Applicants must be members of TIPEC (click here to become a member) and a current or retired professional in their field. Applications for student representatives on the board of directors will be released later this summer.

Interested candidates should submit the following below:
• Your CV
• Short Bio (approximately 100 words)
• Personal Statement of no more than 250 words (one page, double-spaced) highlighting your IPEP work, your reasons for wanting to serve on the board, and the impact you hope to make in the organization.

*Board meetings are the third Monday of the month from 12:00 – 1:00 pm Central from September – May. June, July and August, they are the third Tuesday of the month from 12:00 – 1:00 pm Central.
